Piper PA-22 Tripacer 125 G-APXU

 

April 1991 saw the arrival of a relatively modern aircraft at the MAPSL workshops.  This was a flight-standard restoration of a small general aviation aircraft for a private owner.  Inspection of the work was performed by a licenced engineer, which allowed it to return to the air after completion in 1995.  The fuselage is seen here under wraps at Rochester Airport during restoration; and the aircraft is still believed to be in flying condition.
