Short S.16 Scion II Floatplane G-AEZF
Restoration of the fuselage including cockpit and cabin are nearing completion, as is the empennage. Work is well under way on the starboard wing which has mostly had to be built from scratch. The port wing remains to be started but work has just started to build two replica floats using the one borrowed from the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum as a reference.
This engine is part-sectioned. Unfortunately we do not have a complete engine but what we have has been cleaned and restored to a very high standard. Should anyone know of a Pobjoy engine or parts anywhere please contact MAPSL.
Two Trolley Accumulators, used to start Merlin engines, are currently being restored. These are for different clients and demonstrate how much variation there is in these items.
