Queen's Award for Voluntary Service

The Vice Lord Lieutenant of Kent, The Viscount De L'Isle MBE DL presented the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service to MAPSL on the 6th October, 2010.  This prestigious national honour is recognised universally as 'the MBE for voluntary excellence'.  Distinguished guests in the gathering included the Mayor of Medway, Councillor David Brake JP together with Mrs Carmita Brake, Mayoress, Deputy Lieutenants Group Captain Patrick Tootal and Mr John Spence, Medway Chief Executive Officer Mr Neil Davies and Director General of the RAF Museum, Air Vice Marshal Peter Dye.  The crystal was accepted by Mr Lewis Deal MBE, Managing Director of MAPSL on behalf of the company and the scroll by Mr Malcolm Moulton, the chairman of MAPSL.

Among other awards previously awarded to the company was the Award for Volunteering Excellence in 2007.
